4 Keralites held for bid to smuggle 2kg gold

A group of four passengers, including two women, were today arrested at the international airport here for allegedly attempting to smuggle two kg of gold worth Rs 70 lakh from Sharjah.

The four hailing from Kerala, who arrived from Sharjah, were found by customs officials carrying the gold by concealing it, airport sources said.

The gold was seized and the four passengers were arrested, they said.
