A huge cache of detonators was seized from a house at a village here today, police said.
Acting on a tip-off, the police raided the residence of one Yadagiri, located on the outskirts of Bhim Devera Palli village around 50 kms from here, and found 480 detonators, Husnabad Circle Inspector P Sadan Kumar said.
The raid was conducted this morning, the accused Yadagiri, however managed to flee, they said, adding, any possibility of a Maoist link in this case has been ruled out.
A case has been registered under the Explosive Substances Act, police said, adding, efforts were on to nab the accused.
