5 officials issued show cause notice for negligence of duty

Five officials were today issued show cause notices by the district administration for their alleged negligence of duty.

District Magistrate of Amethi Jagat Raj Tripathi also ordered deduction of a day's salaries of district supply officer, panchyat raj officer, chief veterinary officer, consolidation officer and district minority welfare officer after they failed to be present in the tehsil divas at Musafirkhana.

Only two cases out of seventy two were disposed on the spot.

SP Hira Lal, CDO Om Praksh Pandey and several others attended the divas.
