5-year old dies of mysterious fever

A five-year old girl, undergoing treatment for a 'mysterious fever' in the government medical college hospital here, died today.
Dhanalakshmi, hailing from nearby Tirupur, was brought and admitted to CMCH, a couple of days ago for 'mysterious fever' and died without responding to treatment in the early hours, they said.
Meanwhile, a 25-year old man, working in a private textile mill here, also died of 'mysterious fever,' at a private hospital.
The youth Kalyan Singh, hailing from Madhya Pradesh and staying in Vadavalli here, was suffering from the fever for the last one week and admitted to the private hospital, where he died last night, police said.
