6 caught by BSF for illegal mining of gypsum in border areas

BSF has apprehended six persons for illegal mining of gypsum in border areas here, officials said today.

Acting on a tip-off, the BSF surrounded 22-BSS village in Khajuwala last night and caught the six men, a BSF spokesperson said.

One earthmover, one dumper laden with gypsum and four empty dumpers were seized.

The six were later handed over to Bajju police station for further investigation.
