Six children, who were forcefully made to work under inhuman conditions, have been rescued by the police from a factory located in northwest Delhi's Jahangirpuri area, police said today.
An NGO called up the police yesterday and told them that they had given shelter to four boys who had managed to flee from a factory where they were forced to work under inhuman conditions, DCP (northwest) Vijay Singh said.
When the police interacted with the boys, they told them that some of their friends, who were also from Bihar, were still stuck in the factory, following which a raid was conducted, said police.
