6 held for bid to sell deer horns

Six persons were arrested today for allegedly trying to sell four deer horns at Payyambalam Beach in the district.

A forest flying squad detained the six and seized the horns, valued about Rs 50,000, officials said.

The jeep used for transporting the horns had also been seized, they said.
