Six persons were killed and two others injured when an autorickshaw rammed into a stationary lorry at a village in Denkada mandal here today, police said.
The autorickshaw was on its way to Vizianagaram from Natavalasa when it collided with the lorry in Chandakapeta village, Denkada police station sub-inspector S Krishna Varma said.
Six passengers of the autorickshaw died on the spot, he said.
The injured persons were taken to a government hospital in Vizianagaram, he said.
