Six persons were killed and 33 others injured in Nepal when a bus carrying Hindu pilgrims fell down a hilly road near the capital city of Kathmandu, police said today.
The pilgrims were returning to their home in Dhading district, 60 km west of Kathmandu, after offering prayer at a 12 yearly Hindu festival in Godavari when the bus lost balance while taking a turn at a narrow and uneven road yesterday, they said.
Three persons died on the spot yesterday and three others died today while undergoing treatment in a hospital here, according to the police.

As many as 33 people were injured in the incident. They are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the capital.
A month-long festival is going on in Godawari, 20 km east of Kathmandu, for the past three weeks.
