60-year-old woman killed in scuffle

A 60-year-old woman was allegedly killed when she tried to pacify two groups embroiled in a scuffle over some issue in Banat village of Shamli district, police said today.
The victim identified as Hasina, tried to intervene between two quarelling groups yesterday. When one of the members tried to push her away, she fell on the ground and suffered head injuries, Circle Officer Nishank Sharma said.
A case has been registered against four people-Tinu, Kallu, Mehboob, and Shazad, he said, adding, the accused are absconding.
