60-yr-old killed in road accident in UP

The deceased Dukkhi was going with Shobhal (45) on a bicycle to Lalganj bazar when an SUV vehicle hit them near Mesarpur road crossing, and dragged the bicycle for about 200 metre, police said.

The injured has been referred to Varanasi hospital for treatment.

Locals blocked the Azamgarh-Varanasi road for half an hour sitting in a dharna demanding speed breakers, police added. PTI CORR SAB PG MNS
