600-ton jade rock found in Northeast China

A jade rock weighing about 600 tons has been accidentally discovered by miners in China's northeast province Liaoning, government said today.
The miners discovered the massive deposit of the prized material while digging in a cave in Kuandian Man Autonomous County last year, state run Xinhua news agency reported.
Given the difficulty of digging out the ornamental rock in one piece, there is no plan yet to excavate it from the cave. The rock is priceless, said Wang Xingdong, general manager of the local mining company.
