A 65-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly trying to molest a physically challenged minor girl near here.
Police said Hassanar, who runs a grocery shop at Bolenthur, lured the girl, a Class V student, to his house by offering sweets and attempted to molest her yesterday.
Locals gathered when the girl screamed for help. Though Hassanar managed to escape, he was later picked up by police from a nearby place, police said.
