65-yr-old man held for raping teenager

A 65-year-old man was today arrested for allegedly raping a teenager twice in Telco locality here, police said.

The accused was arrested on charges of raping a 14-year-old girl, who was his neighbour, Officer-in-charge of the Telco Police station, K N Ram said.

The accused allegedly raped the girl for the first time two months ago and again two days ago when she informed her family members about it.

They registered an FIR against the man and he was arrested, police said.

The girl has been sent for medical check up.
