A total of 68.5 kg of ganja was seized from two places in Bhagalpur district and eight persons, including three women, were arrested in this connection, police said today.
Acting on a tip off, police intercepted an SUV at Kahalgaon last night and seized 67 kg of ganja hidden in a box under one of its seats, DSP Ramanand Kumar Kaushal said.
Eight persons, including three women, were arrested from the vehicle, he said.
On the basis of information gathered from them, another 1.5 kg ganja was recovered from Pirpainti, the police officer said.
