690 electronic detonators seized, one held

690 electronic detonators were seized in Mirzapur district and one person was arrested in this connection, police said today.

Acting on a tip off, police seized the detonators from a person yesterday in Sonpur tri-section under Ahraura police station area.

On interrogation, the accused told the police that he had bought the detonators from a person for blasting rocks.

Police said a hunt has been launched to nab the seller.
