7 kg ganja seized
Seven kilograms of ganja was
today seized near Madurai-Rameswaram highway here, police said.
The police intercepted a vehicle carrying the drug near Vedalai village, meant to be smuggled to Sri Lanka.
The driver of the vehicle managed to escape, police said adding a case has been registered and investigation is underway.
