Border guarding force jawans recovered 75 kg of narcotics and arrested five Nepalis in this connection near UP border here, police said today.
The Indo-Nepal border SSB jawans arrested the five alleged smugglers identified as - Ramesh (26), Krishna (22), Kamal (22), Lal Bahadur (22) and Ram Kumar.
75 kgs of Charas was seized from their possession, they said.
The arrested persons have been handed over to Jarwa Kotwali here, along with the seized narcotics, they said.
More than two dozen cases of Charas smuggling were recovered by SSB Jawans in few months back, they said.
