A total of 750 players from different parts of the country will compete in the six-day All India Junior Ranking Badminton Tournament to be held at Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium here from tomorrow.
The events are for the age groups of Under 19 and Under 17 in boys and girls, singles and doubles with mixed doubles only in Under 19 category.
India international and world no 4 Arjun M R (Kerala) and Chirag Shetty (Maharashtra), Siril Varma (Telengana), Daniel Farid (Karnataka), Malavika J K (Kerala), Chirag Sen (Air India) andS hriyanshi Pardeshi (Air India) are participating in the tournament.
Qualifying matches will be played during the first two days and the main draw matches will commence on the third day.
The finals will be held on Sunday.
Organisers said this is one of the most prestigious tournaments conducted by RSC (Regional Sports Centre) with the main support of United India Insurance Co Ltd.
