At least eight persons, including three children, were injured when a gas cylinder burst into flames at a house in Rajiv Nagar area of the city, police said today.
Police said Rajiv Nagar resident Rohit Kumar had informed them that the incident took place around 8 PM in the house adjoining his. He said the room where the cylinder burst was locked from outside when the incident took place.
The conditions of three of the injured were critical and they had been shifted to a hospital in Delhi.
Further investigations were on into the matter, police added.
