An eight-year-old boy was allegedly sodomised by his neighbour in Faridabad, police said today.
According to a complaint filed by the boy's relatives, the minor had gone to play in the nearby park on August 21, but about an hour later he came back crying.
The boy said that accused Manish took him to a nearby jungle and sodomised him, according to the complaint.
A case was registered with Police Station Sector-7 Faridabad under section 4 of POCSO Act yesterday.
Investigating Officer ASI Suresh Kumar said that police have started investigation in the case.
