800 organisations conducting religious events across Punjab were today felicitated by Shri Ram Navmi Utsav Committee here.
The committee, being run under the chairmanship of Chief Editor of Hind Samachar Group Vijay Kumar Chopra, every year felicitates organisations carrying out religious functions like 'Ramleela' and 'Jagrata' in the state.
"This year, 800 organisations have been selected and they have been given a memento each," Project Manager of the committee Virendra Sharma said.
