Aam Aadmi Party leader Aquil Rana today joined the Congress along with dozens of his supporters at the party office here in presence of Pradesh Congress Committee president Kishore Upadhyay.
"Upadhyay welcomed Rana and his supporters in the party and said their inclusion will strengthen the party, PCC spokesman Mathuradutt Joshi said.
"I hope Rana and his supporters will strengthen the Congress in Uttarakhand as per the expectations of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi," Upadhyay was quoted by Joshi.
