Abducted brothers rescued, three held

Two brothers who were abducted for a ransom of Rs 15 crore were rescued by the police from a farm near Chhata area here.

Three, including a woman have been arrested in this connection, said SSP Vinod Kumar Mishra, adding the kidnapping took place in Kailash Nagar on June 20.

A named FIR was filed by the cousin of kidnapped youths yesterday.

The woman, alleged mastermind in the case, was arrested by a SWAT team and local police near gate number 3 of Sri Krishna Janmasthan yesterday, following a tip off.

Her husband, a co-accused in the case, was also arrested, said Mishra.
