Abducted girl rescued, kidnapper held

A 15-year-old girl was kidnapped from Mandli village of Kathua district on July 1, police said.

Acting on a tip-off, a JK Police team raided a location in Phagwara area in Punjab's Jalandhar district and rescued the minor.

The kidnapper, identified as Nissar Ali, was arrested, they said, adding that the girl has been handed over to her family members.
