Acid attack: Woman, son suffer injuries

A woman and her son suffered serious burn injuries after some persons threw acid on them in Trivediganj area here in the wee hours today.

Prabha Devi and Pankaj were sleeping outside their residence when four people thrashed them and threw acid on the mother-son duo, according to police.

Both were rushed to district hospital, from where they were referred to trauma centre at Lucknow, police said.
