Adele gives up pizza to save her voice

Oscar-winning singer Adele has stopped eating pizza to protect her vocal cords.

The 28-year-old British singer has been warned that eating cheese and tomato dish could damage her throat and affect her singing ability and give her a painful case of acid reflux, reported Femalefirst.

"I can't eat pizza anymore, guys! How bad is that? Because it's got cooked tomatoes on it which are bad for your throat and give you acid reflux. How bad is that, that I can't eat pizza," Adele said.

The "Hello" hitmaker, who is currently touring the west coast of America, which is famous for its pizzas, is sad that she can't enjoy the country's delightful delicacy.
 

"I'm in America and I can't eat pizza no more. It's worse than Romeo and Juliet! If only Shakespeare was alive, he could write about it," she added.
