Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd (ABFRL) today reported a standalone net loss of Rs 12.4 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2016.
The company had reported net profit of Rs 6.44 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.
Total income from operations grew by 5.12 per cent to Rs 1,707.16 crore in the quarter under review as against Rs 1,623.92 crore in the corresponding period a year ago, the company said in a BSE filing.
The company's overall expenses stood at Rs 1,685.35 crore, up 6.42 per cent, as against Rs 1,583.57 crore for the same period last fiscal.
Shares of Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd were trading 1.98 per cent down at Rs 146.10 apiece on the BSE today.
