After rains in Mumbai, flood of creativity on social media

As rains lashed Mumbai, creative juices of the denizens of world also began to flow, with memes and messages flooding and other platforms.

"Ab Mein Lo Ka Mazaa (Now enjoy the charm of in Mumbai)," went a meme, accompanied by a morphed photograph of a gondola wading through a flooded suburban train station in the megapolis.

"Available for hire in Mumbai," said another meme, showing a boat in shallow waters bearing the logo of a popular app-based cab-sharing service.

Among the more interesting ones is a showing the image of and in a gondola in Venice, from the 1979 film "The Great Gambler".

"Bhaiya, Malad Lena (Brother, take us to Malad)," it said, referring to a northern suburb of which was among the several areas in the city which witnessed heavy rain.

"Those who have mentioned swimming as hobby in their bio-data should report for duty at their offices," said another message doing the rounds.
