AIFF begins Grassroots Football Programme

Inaugurating the AIFF-Mizoram Football Association (MFA) Grassroots Football Programme, Baan expressed hope that the programme would go a long way to improve skills in the country as Mizoram produced a number of skilled players.

The programme was designed for teaching football to children in the age-group of six to 12 years for a period of three months where 180 budding footballers would be coached by a development officer and three coaches.

The football classes would be held after school hours.
