Air Conditioner explodes, woman dies in fire in Haryana

A 22-year-old woman was today burnt to death in a fire caused due to alleged explosion of an air conditioner at her residence in Mohalla Ramsinghpura here, police said.

On hearing the shrieks of Bharti Devi, her father-in-law came to her rescue with the help of neighbours. He took her to hospital where she was declared brought dead by doctors, police said.

A case has been registered in this regard under section 174 of the Criminal Procedure Code, police said.
