"Economic crisis in India is dangerous. AITUC will demand a white paper on it in its conference beginning tomorrow. We also want a debate on the issue immediately after the white paper is published," AITUC General Secretary Gurudas Dasgupta alleged in a press conference here.
Criticising the Union government for raising prices of petrol, diesel and LPG gas cylinders, the senior CPI leader said far from helping to contain inflation, these policies are rather fuelling it.
"Economic and political crisis in the country is arising out of corruption while recession and inflation are causing deep damage to the country," he said.
