Alok Agrawal quits Zee Media, to join Reliance Industries

Zee Media Corporation's whole-time director Alok Agrawal, who is also Zee News CEO, has resigned and will join Reliance Industries Ltd.

"Alok Agrawal has resigned as Whole-time Director of the Company with effect from close of business hours from May 12, 2014," Zee Media Corporation said in a BSE filing.

On his next move, Agrawal said that he is delighted to be a part of RIL.

He also thanked the Zee News team.

"Delighted to share my move to Team #RIL. Thank you Team @ZeeNews", Agrawal tweeted.

Agrawal had joined Zee Media Corporation in October 2012.

Zee Media operates news channels like Zee News and Zee Business.
