Amateur body building, Kabaddi championship to be held

The 63rd National Amateur Body Building and state-level Kabaddi championship for men will be held here from January 23- 26.

Twelve teams will participate in Kabbadi games while 14 teams from all over the country will take part in the amateur body building competitions to be held at Mafatlal ground in Khaegaon, a release issued by organisers said today.

Cash prize worth Rs 11 lakh will be awarded in both the competitions.

Teams of Air India, BPCL, Mahendra and Mahendra, Central Railway, Maharashtra Police, Mumbai Police, Central Bank, Jatinkumar Co., Thane Police, Kalyan-Dombivali Municipal Corporation and Navi Mumbai Police will participate in Kabbadi games.
 

In the amateur body building championship, teams of Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Manipur, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, All India Electricity Board, West Bengal, Assam, Telangana, Orisa and Maharashtra will participate.
