Amber Heard splits from longtime girlfriend for Depp?

The 26-year-old "Rum Diary" star apparently broke up with the artist-photographer a few months ago because of the strength of her relationship with Depp, reported Daily Mail.

"They are no longer in a relationship," a source said.

The pair, who met in 2008 and were romantically involved since then, are still friends with each other.

Earlier this month, Depp announced he and his partner of 14 years, Vanessa Paradis, had split.
