AP volleyball association launches coaches clinic

The Andhra Pradesh Volleyball Association today launched the coaches clinic to create awareness among trainers on the new techniques in the game at the port indoor stadium here.

State President of the Association and legislator PVGR Naidu (Ganababu) said that the association has decided to develop the game of volleyball from the gross root level.

He said, the coaches clinic will help volleyball coaches in the state to enhance their skills and know the latest techniques in the game.

The physical education teachers (PETs) in the schools should come forward to conduct volleyball competitions in order to bring talented players for the development of the sport, he added.
 

Association's secretary and former Indian Volleyball captain A Ramana Rao said, that he will teach the new techniques in the game to the coaches, senior players and PETs during the week long coaches clinic from August 3 to 8.

Association's Honorary Chairman S Kodana Ramaiah and former Indian volleyball captain K Venkataram Reddy were also present on the occasion.
