Army demines land along Jammu LoC;farmers to get it tomorrow

Army has demined the land along Line of Control (LoC) in Akhnoor border belt of Jammu district and farmers will get its possession tomorrow, Army officials said.

A ceremony for handing over of demined land to villagers of Akhnoor Block will be conducted at Dhar Crossing ahead of Jaurian Ahead of Khour tomorrow, they said.

General Officer Commanding, Headquarters 10 Infantry Division Major General Kulpreet Singh and Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Simrandeep Singh will attend the function in this regard, they said.
