The Army today held a special medical camp for women and children along the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
"Medical screening and treatment was provided to 238 women and 137 children living along the Line of Control in Jhangar area of the district today," an army spokesman said.
During the camp the main focus was laid on health problems related to women and children, the spokesperson added.

Subsequent to the medical checkup, a lecture on 'Diseases related to Women and Children' was delivered by the doctors.
"We have no health facilities here, but the army has come forward to provide health facilities to us, we are thankful to them and hope that they would organise more such camps in the days to come" said Sameena, a local resident.
