The Indian Army has inaugurated an ultra-modern war centre to train jawans with the help of computers in various war situations across the world.
Lieutenant General Gyan Bhushan, Commanding Officer of the South Western Command of the Indian Army inaugurated the war centre yesterday at Army's 'Strike One' core headquarters here, an Army spokesperson said.
The officer asserted that Indian Army is continuously following the path of upgraded technology and training of war and strategic analysis through computers would be like a boon to our jawans.
The Centre would train jawans through virtual wars in various geographical conditions of the world with the help of computers, the statement said, adding, it will also teach the jawans strategic analysis and know-how of operating various modern arms.
