A 26-year-old Army Jawan today died in a road accident near Fatehgarh Churian railway station in the district.
According to police, Malkit Singh died on the spot after his bike rammed into a roadside tree when he was going to village Jhangi to meet his in-laws.
Malkit had come to his native place and was on leave.
