Three students, arrested for securing admission at a government medical college here through allegedly fraudulent means, were today suspended from the institute.

Anurag Jain, Sameer Mandaloi and Shani Juneja, pursuing different PG courses in Mahatma Gandhi Memorial (MGM) Medical College, were apprehended by Special Task Force (STF) of Madhya Pradesh Police on December 1.

The disciplinary committee of the institute yesterday recommended their suspension. The college management accepted the recommendation and suspended the trio, college sources said.

According to STF sources, Jain, Mandaloi and Juneja paid Rs 65 lakh to Rs 75 lakh each to a gang of racketeers to get admission in the college.
