The matter was discussed and agreed on during a meeting between Arunachal Chief Minister Nabam Tuki and Bangladesgh Foreign Minister Dipu Moni in Dhaka.
Mani also wanted to purchase power from Arunachal Pradesh and suggested establishment of a Central Power Grid, the release said.
Moni pitched for increasing bilateral trade and offered to export cosmetics, garments, textiles, which were produced at very cheaper rates, to Arunachal Pradesh and other North Eastern states.
Tuki appreciated the efforts made by the Centre and Bangladesh to increase the trade relations by introducing multiple entry visas for businessmen from both the countries.
Earlier the chief minister attended a business conclave and urged global investors to invest in Arunachal Pradesh by exploring its abundant natural resource, the release said.
Underlining the potential for tourism in Arunachal Pradesh, Tuki told the Bangladesh Minister about the presence of a sizeable Buddhist population and religious pilgrimage sites for Buddhist in the state.
He also shared his plans for creation of Centre for Buddhism tourism in Arunachal Pradesh in near future which would open the tourism gate for the Buddhist population in South East Asian countries, the release said.
