Arunachal Congress to observe Nov 8 as 'Black Day'

The Arunachal Pradesh Congress has decided to observe November 8 as 'Black Day' to protest the demonetisation policy of the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre.
The party has decided to organise a peaceful procession from Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan to Tennis Court here on November 8, a party statement said today.
The Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) has appealed to all party leaders and workers of the state to join the proposed programme, it said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced the ban on high-value currency notes on November 8, 2016.
