Arunachal sends Maggi noodles for analysis
State to also inspect other noodle brands
Food Safety Officers (FSO) in Arunachal Pradesh lifted random samples of Maggi noodles and have dispatched them to a laboratory in Guwahati for analysis.
"Samples have been lifted on May 21 and 22 last under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 as well as survey samples and the report is awaited," Health and Family Welfare secretary Indira Mallo said in a statement today.
The FSOs have been directed to lift more samples of various noodle brands for routine check of quality standards, she added.
