Gopal Debnath's curling freekick in the 11th minute gave Aryans the lead against East Bengal who fielded a second string side, resting central defender Uga Okpara, medio Penn Orji and striker Edeh Chidi.

After the breather, East Bengal brought in veteran Alvito D'Cunha and Manandeep Singh and equalised through a Raju Gaikward header from Robin Singh's corner in the 64th minute.

But Aryans continued the fine run with Pankaj Moula setting up the win with a 75th minute strike.
