Asha Bhonsle to be honoured at Saptati celebrations tomorrow

Popular playback singer, Asha Bhonsle will be honoured by the Arya Vaidya Pharmacy as part of its one-year long 'Saptati celebrations' (70 years), which begins here tomorrow.

Maharashtra Governor, K Sankaranarayanan will be the chief guest and honour Asha for her achievements in the music field, Dr P R Krishnakumar, Managing Director, AVP, said.

Planning commission member, Dr K Kasturirangan would deliver special address during the function, he said.

The celebrations will be for one year till July 2014, Krishnakumar said.
