Assailant who shot businessman nabbed in Ghaziabad

One of the assailant, who along with two other associates allegedly had shot Ghaziabad-based businessman, was nabbed from Vijay Nagar area here today, police said.

Acting on a tip-off, Sihani Gate police arrested Yogendra alias Jayant, they said.

He along with two other associates had shot Ghaziabad- based businessman Vijay Goyal on 25th August.

SHO Sihani Gate Upendra Yadav said that Yogendra has confessed that he drove the motorcycle and reached Vijay Goyal's shop around 10 am on Tuesday.

Two other accused -- Pinto and Pehalwan -- are still at large. They will be nabbed soon, Yadav said.
