AstraZeneca Pharma India today reported a multi-fold jump in its net profit to Rs 27.38 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2017 mainly on account of higher revenues and decrease in expenses.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 80.25 lakh for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, AstraZeneca Pharma India said in a filing to the BSE.
Total revenue of the company stood at Rs 166.75 crore for the quarter under consideration. It was Rs 141.28 crore for the same period a year ago.
Shares of AstraZeneca Pharma India Ltd today closed at Rs 1,095.80 per scrip on BSE, up 2.67 per cent from its previous close.
