Auto-rickshaw overturns, 15 injured

At least 15 persons were injured when the auto-rickshaw in which they were travelling toppled while trying to avoid a pig at Nandigama in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh today.

The rickshaw skidded and toppled as the driver braked in order to avoid a pig which suddenly ran across the road, police said.

The passengers, daily labourers, suffered minor injuries, said police sub-inspector P Yesubabu.
