'Avatar' sequels to go into production simultaneously

'Avatar' director James Cameron has revealed that the sequels to the 2009 film will be made simultaneously.
The 59-year-old filmmaker said that the second, third and fourth films will go into production together, reported Deadline.
"The second, third and fourth films all go into production simultaneously. They're essentially all in pre-production now, because we are designing creatures, settings, and characters that span all three films. And we should be finished with all three scripts within the next, I would say, six weeks," he said.
Cameron said that the sequels are slated to release from December 2016 to 2018.
